Scaffold and edge protection
Erected, inspected weekly and struck when the job signs off. On terraces we price the alley tower in as well, because it is never optional and pretending otherwise just moves the argument to the end.
-
Strip, skip and tip fees
Old tiles, felt and batten come off, go in our own skip and are weighed in under our waste carrier licence. The transfer note goes in the pack with the guarantee.
-
Building control notification
A full re-roof is notifiable work. We raise it with Leeds building control, meet the inspector on site and hand you the completion certificate with the invoice.

We climb it before we cost it
Every quote starts with a ladder or a pole camera, forty minutes on site and photographs of the things you cannot see from the pavement: the valley, the flaunching, the state of the batten. You get the report whether you use us or not, and the price that follows it does not move unless you change the spec.
FAQs
Yes. Most of what leaves the yard goes out on somebody else's van. Pay at the counter or open an account, and we will cut lead to width and load you up while you wait.
A tiled semi is four to six working days, a slate terrace six to nine. We strip one elevation at a time and sheet it overnight, so the house is never open to the weather when we go home.
No. Scaffold, edge protection and the weekly handover inspections are in the figure you are quoted, along with the skip and the tip fees. Work at height is not something you bolt on afterwards.
Our workmanship on everything we laid: fixings, laps, flashings, ridges and verges. Materials carry their own maker's warranty, the EPDM membrane 20 years. Storm damage and anything nailed on afterwards by somebody else are not covered.
We do. Stripping stops in high wind and GRP will not cure below five degrees, so those days move. Everything else carries on under sheets, and we will tell you the day before rather than the morning of.
Yes. Nothing up front on domestic work under £3,000, otherwise a materials payment when the scaffold goes up and the balance on completion. We never ask for the full amount before a tile is lifted.
