Terms and conditions
Last updated 17 September 2026
1. When these terms apply
These terms cover surveys, quotations, material sales and roofing work carried out by Wilczynsky Ltd, company number 16937284, VAT number GB424143235, trading as Wilczynsky Roofworks, 4 Norfolk Grn, Chapel Allerton, Leeds LS7 4QA. A signed quotation may add terms for your roof; where the two differ, the signed quotation applies.
2. Prices and quotations
Prices on this website are starting prices per square metre or per item and exclude VAT. They are not an offer. A written quotation follows the survey and holds for 60 days. Rot, failed rafters and anything else hidden under the old covering are priced in writing before we touch them.
3. Payment
Domestic work under £3,000 is paid on completion. Above that, a materials payment falls due when the scaffold goes up and the balance on completion. Trade accounts run on 30 day terms once two invoices have been settled; on late payment we may charge statutory interest and compensation under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
4. Access, weather and delays
You give us access to the roof, a standpipe and room for the scaffold. Stripping stops in high wind and resin will not cure in the cold, so dates move; we tell you the day before. We work to the Work at Height Regulations 2005 and CDM 2015 throughout.
5. Cancelling
If you sign at home rather than at the yard, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you 14 days to cancel without giving a reason. If you ask us to start inside that period and then cancel, you pay for the work already done and for materials cut to your roof. Uncut stock is taken back within 30 days with the receipt.
6. Quality and guarantee
We work with reasonable care and skill and supply goods of satisfactory quality, as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires. Our workmanship guarantee runs for 15 years on full re-roofs and 20 years on single ply membrane. Storm damage, blocked gutters and work altered by others are not covered.
7. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
