1. Who is responsible for your data
Wilczynsky Ltd, company number 16937284, trading as Wilczynsky Roofworks from the yard at 4 Norfolk Grn, Chapel Allerton, Leeds LS7 4QA, is the controller of the personal data collected through wilczynsky.com, over the counter and on site visits. Questions about this policy can go to [email protected] or 0113 345 9212.
2. What we collect
The survey form takes your name, telephone number, email address, the postcode of the property, the type of building, the work you need and anything you write in the message box. If the job goes ahead we also hold the site address, the survey photographs, the quotation and the invoices. Counter customers give a delivery address and, for accounts, trade references.
3. Why we use it and on what basis
- To survey the roof and send you a quotation, at your request before a contract.
- To carry out, deliver and guarantee the work under our contract with you.
- To keep the records HMRC, building control and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 require of us.
- To protect the form and the yard from misuse, as a legitimate interest.
We never sell data and we do not run a marketing list.
4. Who else sees it
Only the people a roof needs: the scaffolder, the skip firm and, where the work is notifiable, Leeds building control. Our accountant, email provider and host process data on our instructions, in the United Kingdom. We never see card numbers.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiries that never become jobs are deleted after 12 months. Quotations, invoices and VAT records are kept for six years from the end of the financial year. Survey photographs and job records are kept for 15 years, which is the length of the workmanship guarantee.
6. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its use, or receive it in a portable form. We answer within one month. If our answer does not satisfy you, complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
