Roofing materials
Everything a roof needs, on the rack in Chapel Allerton. Prices are what you pay at the counter, exclude VAT, and drop again on a trade account.
The rack holds what Leeds roofs are actually made of: Welsh and Spanish slate, clay plain tiles for the older terraces, concrete interlockers for everything built after the war, and the batten, membrane, lead and clips that go under them.
Anything not on the shelf comes in on the next delivery, usually within three working days. Lead is cut to width while you wait and slate can be picked over by hand rather than taken as a sealed pallet.

- Collection
- Pull into the yard at 4 Norfolk Grn and we load you. Pallets go on with the forklift, loose slate by hand, and we will not send you out with a load that is not strapped.
- Delivery
- Thirty miles of the yard on our own hiab, with an offload to the drive or the scaffold lift where there is room for the arm.
- Returns
- Uncut, unmarked stock comes back within 30 days with the receipt. Lead cut to width and slate sorted to a gauge cannot be taken back.
- Trade
- Twelve per cent off over £500 and eighteen over £2,000, ex VAT, with 30 day terms once two invoices have been settled.
